Training

The software only works if the staff do.

Rollouts do not fail loudly. They fail quietly, a fortnight later, when the team has gone back to the old way. We train the people who actually touch the system — on the floor, in their own words, on the software they will really use.

Who we train

Four groups, four different sessions.

01

Cashiers & shift leads

Running a shift on the point of sale without thinking about it.

  • Opening the till, floats and the start-of-shift checks
  • Taking orders accurately — modifiers, allergies, sending to kitchen
  • Payments, split bills and tips
  • Voids, refunds and corrections, and when to call a manager
  • Cash-up, settlement and closing the shift properly
02

Merchants & owners

Getting the numbers out, and trusting them.

  • What the system can tell you, and where to find it
  • Reading sales, margin and wastage reports
  • Payment settlement — what arrives, when, and why it differs
  • Refunds, disputes and keeping the evidence
  • Managing users, permissions and who can do what
03

Bar & floor staff

Using the software at service speed, under pressure.

  • Fast order entry and tab management behind a busy bar
  • Handheld and table-side ordering
  • Taking payment at the table without holding up the floor
  • What to do when a device drops off the network mid-service
  • Handing a section over cleanly at the end of a shift
04

Deployment crews

Installing and supporting the software on an event site.

  • Staging and configuring devices before they leave the warehouse
  • Installing and commissioning on site, with a real test transaction
  • Issuing kit to vendors and showing them how to use it
  • Acting as a software user themselves — serving on the system, not just fixing it
  • Triage during peak, and a clean teardown and return
How it works

On your floor, on your software.

  1. We learn your setup first

Training is written against the software you actually run and the way your service works — not a generic course.

  2. Short sessions, on site

Delivered in the venue, around service, in sessions people can absorb between shifts.

  3. Practice on the real system

Everyone runs the transactions themselves, including the awkward ones — the refund, the split bill, the dropped connection.

  4. A reference they keep

A short written guide for the counter, so a new starter is not dependent on whoever happens to be on shift.

  5. Back when the team turns over

Hospitality turnover is a fact. Refresher sessions are part of how we work, not an upsell.

On certification

We do not issue certifications. We are not an accredited training body and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What you get is staff who can use the system and a written reference they can keep.
